are-able’s Colac office has moved to new dedicated offices on bustling Murray Street due to a growing demand for our services in the local community. We are holding an Open Day celebration this Friday (20 July) and would like to invite anyone in the area to stop.

According to Colac’s Site Manager, Trudi Perkins, the new space has been positively received by the local community. “We are hoping that our new site next door to the bakery in Colac’s main shopping precinct will be more visible to passers-by and encourage people to drop in and have a chat about our employment services for job seekers and employers,” Trudi said.

“Part of the plan is to have an open door policy”

We are excited to occupy a bigger space to our previous office at Bromfield Street, making it easier to link our job seekers with employers in a larger reception area, six interview rooms, a training space and free phone charging and access to in the internet.

With the recent brand refresh and new campaign rollout, the move was perfect timing for us. “We strongly believe in supporting the local community, using local tradespeople where possible for the fit-out and signage.”

Our Colac branch finds employees for around 500 jobs every year, including industries such as hospitality, retail, agricultural and manufacturing. “We put many of our clients in to traineeships and entry-level jobs, as well as qualified workers’ positions.”

are-able’s programs are available to job seekers who are receiving Centrelink funding. We can also provide employment services for people with a disability or receiving a Disability Support Pension. “In every single case we prepare job seekers for work, taking them through mock interviews and assisting them with work preparation and working with them to find the right job and keep it.”

With the new site, comes a fresh new space and the same great service.

With over 30 years’ experience, are-able is well-established to help find the right fit for the job seeker and the employer. “We have been around so long, people know who we are, and that we can find them a job”.

As part of the celebration of our growth we would love to see you this Friday 20th July at our Open Day and sausage sizzle. Pop in to 178 Murray Street for a snag and a chat!
