Are-able Mt Gambier support provides 300 meals through Spare Ya Change for Kids

Are-able Mt Gambier was proud to present ‘Spare Ya Change for Kids’ with $2,000 to go towards the purchase of a commercial mixer and to be able to prepare 300 meals.

Spare ya Change for Kids (SYC4K) is a local volunteer charity created to improve the welfare of children in the Limestone Coast Region whilst at the same time building community capacity to improve lives and educational outcomes. They provide pre-prepared weekly meal packs which are distributed to schools who have identified children in need and at risk of going hungry.

SYC4K has been creating approximately 200 meal packs each week for distribution to Foodbank and six schools within the Limestone Coast Region.

Are-able is proud to support this wonderful organisation ensuring children in the Limestone Coast can access delicious and nutritious meals.

“We are very excited to support Spare ya change for kids. We are very proud to support a fantastic group of people with similar values to us and are looking forward to working with Spare ya change as the children of our community our  future.” said are-able Mt Gambier Team Leader Jenny Brown.
