Oakley Aluminium

Oakley Aluminium contacted WDEA Works to advertise for a qualified glazier. WDEA Works organised – at no cost to the employer – to run the vacancy in the Standard news paper and on the Australian Government Jobsearch website.

Along with the advertising, WDEA Works was able to identify a jobseeker working with WDEA Works in the work experience program who had handyman and labouring skills. WDEA Works organised for a meeting between the jobseeker and Andrew. As a result of the meeting a work trial was organised.

The jobseeker was able to impress by showcasing his skills and work ethic during the work trial which led to him being offered full-time employment and Oakley Aluminium finding a great fit for their business.
