What we do

The Big R’s Shed is a non for profit social enterprise committed to developing pathways, unlocking potential and strengthening the community.

We offer our team of employees with a disability a unique retail work experience. Sustainability focused, we sell pre-owned assets and in turn offer a service to our local community. We sell an extensive range of second-hand items such as homewares, sporting goods, toys, furniture and electrical. You can visit our Facebook page to find out more.



Using our services

As a customer you can visit the Big R’s Shed and browse our extensive range of quality secondhand goods. We also stock a unique selection of Nigretta of Hamilton handcrafted chopping boards, plants, art and more!

If you wish to donate items simply drop them off onsite at 11 Albert St Warrnambool during our operating hours. When donating items to the Big R’s shed please consider the following:

  • Electrical goods
  • Hardware
  • Sporting Equipment
  • Jewelry & accessories
  • Clothing*
  • Mattresses, linen & bedding
  • Any damaged or soiled goods
  • Any broken electrical goods

*We do have a clothing bin available onsite, however, these donations are not used in our retail store & are outsourced 

All quality donations are greatly appreciated. Your donation helps us divert products from landfill, prevent harmful materials from entering our ecosystem and supports our wonderful team of employees, helping them gain confidence and skills doing meaningful work.
