What we do

Nigretta of Hamilton is a unique woodworking Social Enterprise that creates chopping boards under WDEA Works Social Enterprises. The Nigretta workshop includes an on-site store, where the items produced by the Nigretta team are available for purchase. Our products are handcrafted by our employees with a disability. Our employees benefit from a supervised mentorship program in which they are provided support, training and encouragement.

Aside from creating top quality wooden chopping and serving boards, Nigretta also has a branch offering work in other areas such as eWaste recycling, sorting and packing.

Shop our range

Our cutting and serving boards are shaped, crafted and sanded on site by our talented team. Items crafted under the roof of Nigretta include quality timber chopping boards, Lazy Susan’s, timber platters and pizza paddles. Used in both domestic and commercial settings our products are highly regarded for quality. We also offer customised engraving to add that extra personal touch, creating something truly special.
