WDEA works statement on the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability

 In April 2019 the Australian Federal Government announced a Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability to commence in September 2019.  As a registered disability provider WDEA Works fully supports the Royal Commission and welcomes improvement to the lives and service delivery for people with disabilities.

CEO Tom Scarborough said “WDEA Works remains committed to safeguarding the rights of people with disability and supports establishing a national culture of inclusion, accessibility and respect for all individuals.”

“We will continue to work with our clients, together with their families, carers and guardians, and staff, to ensure we provide a safe supportive environment for people living with disability.”
