WDEA Works Training Courses
PLEASE NOTE: We are now opening new enrolments for October 2018 in Early Childhood!
At WDEA Works, we believe in encouraging and supporting all our employees to continually develop their skills and knowledge. We do this by providing a range of internal and external training and development opportunities, including Early Childhood and First Aid training courses. Expanding your skills and knowledge through training opportunities will help you to develop in your role and, most importantly, better meet the needs of the individuals that you service.
With this focus WDEA Works purchased a Registered Training Organisation in 2013. Balance Training Services has been included in our suite of services. This operates as a division of WDEA Works, under the banner of WDEA Training. The intention of this expansion is to increase the training opportunities for both employees at WDEA Works and also within our client base.
Our goal is the delivery of quality training and assessment for individuals towards vocational education. Please contact WDEA Works to discuss your training needs.
WDEA Works resources for students
Unique Student Identifier
All students undertaking nationally recognised training delivered by a registered training organisation will need to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI)
The Unique Student Identifier is a National Government initiative for all students from 1st January 2016. Your USI account will contain all of your nationally recognised training records and results completed from 1st January 2016 onwards.
One of the main benefits of the USI is that students will have easy access to their training records and results throughout their life.
For further information on what a USI is and how this number will affect you please download the fact sheet or view the video below.
USI Student Overview
This video was produced by Training.Gov.Au and provides an overview of the Unique Student Identifier and how to obtain a USI.
Client and Welfare Support
Students experiencing personal difficulties or who have special needs which may be affecting their ability to participate in their training program should contact, via email, the Training Manager at [email protected] All cases will be treated with confidentiality and may be referred on for additional support.
